Long Range Planning

Assessing the District’s long term goals to ensure student needs are being met wherever they are in their educational journey is a key component of what makes Bethel great. The highest graduation rates in the area and incredible early reader growth are just a couple of the things we love to see for our kids. Caleb is extremely thankful to have the opportunity to represent Bethel’s Parents and Students.

Leadership

Serving as Vice Chair in 2023-24 and Current Board Chair for the 2024-25 school year has been the greatest honor for Caleb. He hopes to have many more years in this capacity, leading Bethel through changes and keeping our sights set on improving every Student’s access to the best we have.

Caleb represented Bethel at the Oregon School Boards Association annual conference, speaking to dozens of other Oregon Board Directors and Superintendents about the importance of engaging and listening to their communities and staff, to create a relevant and responsive Board, shaping their respective districts to the current needs of their parents and students. Working against stagnation is key to Bethel’s success, and a huge point of pride for him.
